SAAP REHABILITATION PROGRAM

SAAP’s network of rehabilitation centers, including Gulshan-e-SikandarabadMehmoodabad, and Kemari Town, served as crucial hubs for fostering recovery and support. The Gulshan-e-Sikandarabad Rehabilitation Centre and Mehmoodabad Rehabilitation Centre played vital roles in facilitating the rehabilitation process. Additionally, the Gulshan-e-Sikandarabad Kemari Town Rehabilitation Centre exemplified SAAP’s commitment to providing comprehensive care and assistance to those in need. These rehabilitation centers, under the umbrella of SAAP, stood as beacons of support, enabling individuals to regain strength and move towards a brighter future.

CONFIDENCE BUILDING TRAINING WORKSHOP

SAAP is committed to offering diverse training programs for individuals with disabilities, empowering them to navigate society and enhance their capabilities for improved living. In line with this, SAAP Friends Club orchestrated a three-day Confidence Building Training Program for Persons with disabilities at Al Farabi Special Education Center in Islamabad from May 7 to May 9, 2009.

WALK FOR A CAUSE "JAGAO"

SAAP conducted an awareness campaign to support flood victims, with the primary objective of highlighting the needs of those affected by floods and addressing their necessities. The campaign aimed to raise awareness in society to effectively tackle the challenges posed by the floods. Additionally, it sought to provide essential medical services to the flood victims and actively contributed to the rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts for those affected.

SAAP extended an invitation to all to participate in the “Walk-a-Cause” event, urging individuals to take a moment during the auspicious month of Ramadan to show support and concern for the flood victims. The “JAGAO Walk-a-Cause” took place on August 29, 2010, starting from Village Restaurant, Sea View, at 11:00 a.m. and concluding at McDonald’s (Sea View). Participants joined in to demonstrate the true spirit of fraternity and solidarity.

TALENT HUNT ACTIVITY

SAAP is eager to offer opportunities for individuals with disabilities to develop their talents. To facilitate this, SAAP organized a talent hunt activity for individuals with disabilities in Islamabad on August 10, 2009, enabling them to actively participate in Independence Day celebrations.

CHARITY CONCERTS

The inaugural mega Rock Concert for fundraising took place on August 13, 2009. Additionally, SAAP arranged a charity concert for fundraising at the Carlton Hotel in Karachi on the same date.

CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS PERFORMING IN A FESTIVAL AT MARINE TIME MUSEUM

Establishment of Junior Friends Club: S.A.A.P has created a junior club dedicated to supporting disabled kids. The junior club consists of members from various leading schools. S.A.A.P organized a meeting for the Junior Friends Club to provide them with a comprehensive overview of their mission.

DISTRIBUTION OF CAMPS AND FOOD ITEMS TO FLOOD VICTIMS 2010

During the devastating floods of 2010, SAAP played a pivotal role in providing aid to the affected communities. The organization undertook the distribution of camps and essential food items to assist the flood victims. This initiative aimed to alleviate the immediate needs of those affected, offering a lifeline during a challenging time. The distribution efforts were a crucial step in supporting the affected populations and contributing to their recovery in the aftermath of the natural disaster.

DISTRIBUTION IN DISTRICT OFFICE MIRPURKHAS

The distribution event held at the District Office in Mirpurkhas aimed to provide essential goods or services to the community. This initiative likely involved the dissemination of resources, aid, or information to the residents of Mirpurkhas, contributing to community welfare and support.

FREE MEDICAL CAMP AT DISTRICT SHIKARPUR

In an effort to enhance healthcare accessibility, SAAP organized a free medical camp in District Shikarpur. This initiative aimed to provide essential medical services to the local community, addressing healthcare needs and promoting well-being. The free medical camp exemplified SAAP’s commitment to extending healthcare support to underserved areas, ensuring that individuals in District Shikarpur had access to vital medical assistance without financial barriers.

CELEBERATION OF MOTHER'S DAY

SAAP organized the inaugural “Mother’s Day Celebration with Children with special needs” in Pakistan, emphasizing the concept of “Love needs no Language.” This event, the first of its kind, yielded remarkable results within the families of children with special needs. It heightened the awareness of unconditional love without any discrimination towards their special children.
